Chapter Three

Jon stared up at the dark sky through the gap in the trees. The warm body pressed to his brought him peace unlike any he'd experienced when he was away from her. She gently rubbed her fingers over his chest while she had a leg curled around one of his. Her head rested on his shoulder. They'd had three orgasms each this time, a new record. If he could spend more time with her he felt confident he could have and give more.

"What are you thinking, Jon?" she asked.

"I'm thinking of how much I love being with you and I wish we could do this more often."

Her breath brushed over him as she released a heavy sigh. "Me too."

"Maybe we should see each other more."

The drive from his apartment to the lake house took about six hours, but he was willing to commit to her once a month to enjoy the passion of her love and peace she gave him.

She lifted her head. "I would like to do this more, but I fear…" She lowered her gaze.

He pushed her hair behind her ear. "You have nothing to fear from me."

She met his gaze. "You would tire of me."

He grinned. "I could never tire of you. I want more of you."

"How much more?"

"Well, I could visit once a month. I don't know if Mark will let me stay at the lake house, but I could get a room at a motel. We could meet there."

"No, I prefer the outdoors."

"Okay, well I could still get a room and meet you here. I'll park my car on the side of the road."

"Why do you want more? Do you not have other women to love?"

"I've been with other women, but none are like you. I love your energy and passion. I feel like I'm in heaven when I'm with you."

"Do you like the woods and the outdoors?"

"I do, but a soft bed would be nice too."

She smiled. "I suppose it would."

"Do you have something against the indoors?"

"No, but I prefer outside. I feel alive and happy the most when I'm outside."

"It is nice. I think I feel better too." His gaze shifted to the trees. "It's very peaceful out here."

"Do the other women you love please you?"

He looked into her blue eyes. "Not like you do. That's why I'd like to see more of you."

She sighed heavily. "I don't think it's a good idea."

His pulse jumped. "But you admitted you'd like more too. What's holding you back now?"

"My brother would probably get angry if he found out."

"So don't tell him."

"He'd still find out. He can smell your scent on me every time we meet."

"How can he smell me?"

"He has a strong sense of smell."

"Maybe you should introduce me to him. If he knows me, he may not mind us going out together."

"He doesn't like me spending a lot of time with your kind."

Jon scrunched his brows. "What do you mean?"

She shook her head. "Never mind. Let's just enjoy our time together." She lowered her head to his chest.
